All trainings are intended for K-12 teachers new to Illuminate and are therefore appropriate for beginner or beginner-intermediate users. Corresponding “how-to” guides will be created and provided as a resource. Seats are available on a first-come first serve basis with a minimum attendance of ten. Notification of cancellation if there are less than ten attendees will be emailed the day before the training. All attendees must bring a laptop (not a chromebook) to trainings.

- Learning objective: Attendees will receive an overview of Illuminate and learn to navigate its various components.

November 8, 2016 Creating on-the-fly and itembank Assessments (training) 4pm-5pm, Eisenhower Room
- Learning objective: Attendees will learn to create their own on-the-fly (quick) assessments and to utilize Illuminate’s itembank to create standards-aligned assessments.
November 17, 2016 Online Testing (training) 4pm-5pm, Eisenhower Room
- Learning objective: Attendees will learn how to administer a district-created assessment through the Illuminate platform.
December 13, 2016 Assessment Reports (training) 4pm-5pm, Training Room 3
- Learning objective: Attendees will receive a broad overview of the types of reports and data analysis that is available for assessments administered through Illuminate.
January 12, 2017 Hybrid Assessments (training) 4pm-5pm, Training Room 1
- Learning objective: Attendees will learn to create hybrid assessments. Hybrid refers to assessments that have paper test booklets, but responses are entered online in Illuminate.
January 24, 2017 How-to Print and Scan Answer Sheets (training) 4pm-5pm, Eisenhower Room
- Learning objective: Attendees will learn how to print “bubblesheets” to administer assessments offline and how to scan student responses back into Illuminate.
